Increased 'night owl' service over festive season

Bus Vannin is providing more ‘night owl’ buses to cater for late night revellers throughout the festive season.

On both Friday and Saturday of this week, there will be extra services departing at 01.15am - which will serve the north, south and west of the Island.

These buses will provide connections both ways between Douglas and Ramsey, Douglas and Port St Mary via Castletown, Colby and Port Erin and Douglas and Peel.

Late night services will also cater for partygoers on New Year’s Eve.

Minister Graham Cregeen says he wanted a timetable that would allow the bus users to enjoy the festivities:
