Hunt begins for the next Manx Youth bard

Could you be the Island's next 'Youth Bard'?

The hunt is on to fill the position - with deadlines closing on Monday, February 28.

The Manx Bard is an exciting new cultural initiative for the Island, sponsored by the Isle of Man Arts Council and supported by Culture Vannin and Shoprite.

Each year will see the Island’s most worthy poet appointed as Manx Bard via an annual competition.

The current Manx Youth Poet is Brintha Yasodaran, who has been praised by the chair of the Bard committee, Bridge Carter.
