How many government workers take sabbatical?

How many government workers have gone on sabbatical leave over the past three years?

That's what Middle MHK Stu Peters wants to know, having tabled a Tynwald question for written reply to Cabinet Office Minister David Ashford.

Sabbatical leave involves career breaks where employees can take extended time off, usually around three months to year.

Mr Peters also wants to know whether this leave is fully paid, and what's the criteria for letting staff do it.
