A housing developer has applied to have a huge piece of land in Unions Mills earmarked for housing.
Dandara has asked for planning permission in principle to develop the site, which lies between Trollaby Lane, Strang Road and the TT course.
The application doesn't include any details about how many homes may be built, but the company says it would build a new access road linking to Main Road.
And it adds the road could be a potential link to improve access to Nobles Hospital and reduce traffic on Strang Road.
