The Island's Housing and Communities board has 'accelerated' its search to find a replacement emergency night shelter on Island.
That's according to Chief Minister Alfred Cannan who was quizzed on the issue in the House of Keys earlier this week.
It comes following local charity Graih - which supported homeless people and those in unsuitable accommodation - ceasing operations in September this year.
As of yet, no replacement service has been established.
Mr Cannan hopes to have the issue resolved by January 2023 but admits the current situation isn't 'ideal':
