Hospitality has seen a huge inflationary rise over the past year, according to new government figures.
Restaurant and hotel prices have risen by 10.1 per cent over the last 12 months - while wine and spirits in licensed premises rose a whopping 20.7 per cent.
The data from the Cabinet Office also shows electricity prices went up by more than 34 per cent.
At the end of March, the Consumer Prices Index on the Island stood at 3.2 per cent - down 0.3 per cent on February's figure.
