A hotel manager has accused the government of being "tone deaf" and "out of touch" over a possible tourist tax.
Welbeck Hotel general manager Lucy George took to LinkedIn to criticise the idea, currently being considered by the Department for Enterprise.
She says the Island's hospitality industry is already struggling and labelled the visitor levy "absolutely insane".
In her post, she says she's disappointed the idea is being looked at.
