Average bed occupancy at Noble's Hospital has fallen since 2023.
That's according to figures released by Health Minister Claire Christian, in response to a Tynwald question for written reply from Onchan MHK Julie Edge.
However, the number of patients waiting for a bed in A&E has continued to climb year on year since 2021.
Five years ago, just over one patient on average was waiting in the Emergency Department - that's now risen to more than four this year.
