Horologist's car collection raises £10 million

George Daniels who lived on the Isle of Man

The car collection of a Master Watchmaker who lived on the Isle of Man has gone under the hammer to the tune of almost £10 million pounds.

Horologist George Daniel’s collection of seven cars and two motorcycles was sold through auction house Bonhams following his death in October last year.

The collection, which was auctioned at the Goodward Festival of Speed at the end of last month, raised £48,000 short of £10 million pounds.
