Police have issued a poster in the run up to Hop tu Naa for shops to put in their windows.
The posters say traders won't sell eggs and flour to young people.
Officers say Hop Tu Naa can be a night some people dread, fearing their home will be pelted with eggs and flour by youngsters.
Officers say enjoy the festivities but respect other people and only visit houses that openly display they're taking part in the nights ghoulish festivities.
