 
                            The Home Affairs Minister says automatic number plate recognition is a priority for the Island.
During Tueday’s House of Keys sitting, Jane Poole-Wilson MHK was answering a question put to her by Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse, in which he asked what progress has been made to introduce the technology here.
Ms Poole-Wilson responded by saying that her department is currently in the process of adapting the national ANPR by developing regulations of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1985.
