HOK returning from summer recess today

MHK's are coming together for the first sitting of the House of Keys since its summer recess today.

In a compact schedule, support for Laxey residents affected by this month's flooding and the Manx Electric Railway are among the topics to be debated by members.

Meanwhile, the Domestic Abuse Bill 2019 and Children and Young Persons (Amendment) Bill 2019 are to get their first readings.

Todays session - which has nine questions for oral response and just two for written reply - will get underway in Douglas from 10am.
