An investigation has been launched after burglars have raided the warehouse of a Douglas newsagents.
A substantial amount of stock was stolen from Pickwicks Spar Shop on Castle Street on Sunday (13th June) night.
The police are pursuing various lines of enquiry but are appealing for members of the public who were in the area at the time and saw any suspicious behaviour to come forward.
Managing Director of the store Peter Whittaker told 3FM that a large sum of cash, cigarettes, phone cards, and other high value goods were stolen. (audio above)
