Department of education and public health officials are keen to impress that recent high levels of absence from the Island’s school is not solely down to swine flu.
There are currently 3 viruses doing the rounds, swine flu, a cough and cold bug and the Norovirus.
Swine flu can normally be diagnosed if you are running a temperature of over 38 and have painful limbs and headaches.
