The Island’s hidden homeless problem is continuing to spiral according to charity Kemmyrk.
Kemmyrk offers help to those people who find themselves without a fixed residence, regardless of their circumstance.
It’s a self funded organisation dependent on the money raised through charity, which in itself is a major challenge according to project manager, Joanna Chapman.
She believes another major issue that needs tackling is the quality of the some of the accommodation on offer - a problem which she hopes will start to improve with the introduction of The Landlord’s Registration Scheme:
