Ferry passengers could be left stranded this Saturday due to a train strike.
Northern Rail services between Heysham and Lancaster are set to be disrupted by industrial action on the first day of the Easter holidays.
The train company says it won't be offering alternative provision - despite the advance warning the Steam Packet Company says it won't step in with a replacement bus service.
It means passengers on Saturday's sailings will be left to fend for themselves.
Anyone who has already booked Sail and Rail tickets for this period has been told to make alternative arrangements and to send the receipts to Northern Rail for reimbursement.
