The emergency services are coordinating a response plan to help vulnerable people who have been badly affected by the weather.
Heavy snow has caused power outages in the areas of Cronk-y-Voddy, Ballaugh Curraghs, Glen Helen, West Baldwin, Jurby and Dalby.
The emergency services say they want to contact anyone deemed to be in a vulnerable position with a view to establishing their needs and provide assistance if necessary.
Anyone who is worried about someone who lives in one of the affected areas is asked to contact 697314.
