It would appear the Island’s luck is set to run out tomorrow after successfully avoiding the snowfall.
Heavy snow has fallen across much of the UK in the past week with just patchy snow over the mountain road so far.
The Met Office has said the snow will be fairly persistent throughout the day, with blizzard like conditions at times.
It is expected that the snow will begin to settle on lower ground as the day progresses.
Forecaster David Hulse told us the snow will start from tonight, primarily on higher ground to begin with:
