Health Service on Track to Screen All Eligable Patients for Breast Cancer by 2010
The Department of Health and Social Security say the health service
is well on target to screen all eligible patients for breast cancer by 2010.
More than 10,500 women will have been offered an appointment
for the check up by the beginning of the New Year.
So far upto three quarters of on Island practices have sent
women aged between 50 and 70 for screenings.
The service says they are well on track to meet their
targets.
