Health and Social Care Minister Lawrie Hooper has resigned.
The Ramsey MHK made the announcement today in the first Tynwald session in this legislative year.
Hooper recently came under fire for cuts to services caused by a near £17 million overspend at Manx Care.
In his resignation speech Hooper said a disagreement with Chief Minister Alf Cannan over the future of Manx Care led to his departure.
