Hartford plans could 'decimate local ecology' - Quine

Around 150 trees could be removed from an area in south Douglas if plans to build 12 new homes are approved.

Hartford wants to construct the houses in the Farm Hill area, a site which was identified in both the Douglas Local Plan and the Area Plan for the East.

Constituency MHK Paul Quine believes that would decimate the region’s ecology.

He explained why he's against it:
