Harrison wins Southern 100 race

Bradford rider Dean Harrison took victory in last night's 600/1000cc Southern 100 race.

He beat Guy Martin and Michael Dunlop on the Billown Circuit - they finished second and third respectively.

It took him just over 16 minutes to complete the seven lap course, recording a best speed of 113 miles per hour.

In the six lap 125/400 cc race Alistair Haworth took the top spot with Dave Taylor coming in second and Dave Corlett finishing in third.
