Guide Dogs Awareness Day Fundraiser
It’s Guide Dogs Awareness day on the Island today with an event being held in Ramsey to celebrate the fact.
Members of the public are invited to come and meet guide dogs and their owners and find out a bit more about the difficulties faced in getting dogs trained, sponsored and qualified.
As it stands a guide dog will cost roughly £45,000 to keep for life.
We spoke to the District Fundraiser for
Guide Dogs, Charlie Collins, she told us a bit more about today’s event.
