Graham Cregeen has announced his intention to re-stand in this year's General Election.
He hopes to retain his seat in Arbory, Castletown and Malew.
He's called it a 'genuine honour and privilege' to represent the area over the past five years.
In this time, he's also been Education Minister and is currently Justice and Home Affairs Minister.
This year's election gets underway on Thursday, September 23.
