Patients will not be able to make appointments to see their GP on Wednesday afternoon.
It’s because doctors will be attending an education session to discuss issues of concern and learn about new developments in medicine.
GP surgeries will remain open for people to make appointments and collect test results and practice nurses will be working as normal.
Anyone who needs urgent attention will be seen by an on-call GP.
