GPs will meet next week to discuss some of the Island’s most pressing health concerns.
Tackling waiting lists, drug and alcohol problems and psychological problems in the young are some of the topics on the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting.
Hospital consultants will also provide updates on chronic pain control and orthopaedic problems.
Despite doctors being out of action surgeries will remain open and will be able to deal with simple queries. Emergency cover will also be provided.
