The government plans to deliver targeted financial support following a further rise in energy prices - but not until October.
It was announced yesterday Manx Gas prices are set to rise by nearly 44% from September 1.
Despite this, options for helping those affected won't be announced until the October's sitting of Tynwald.
Treasury Minister Dr Alex Allinson says the government has already provided support packages totalling more than £6.3m during the first six months of 2022.
As of yet, no further details of the upcoming support have been revealed.
