Enterprise Minister Tim Johnston says his department and airport staff will work closely with easyJet no matter who owns it.
This week in Tynwald, he faced questions from Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Tim Glover about the airline's possible sale.
Mr Johnston said the Isle of Man has a good relationship with the carrier.
But he said it was too early to give a view on the deal:
