New figures from the government show unemployment rose slightly last month.
At the end of July, 292 people were registered as being unemployed, compared to just 283 in June.
The statistics from the Cabinet Office show 195 men and 97 women were looking for work.
The data shows catering and entertainment had 33 people out of work, with 51 jobs available, while in retail 32 people were jobless with 55 vacant posts on the Island.
