Landowners are being urged to open up their sites to government in a bid to boost development in the east of the Island.
The Cabinet Office has issued a 'call for sites' as part of preparations for an Eastern Area Plan - it wants land for housing and employment.
It says a new plan is "critical" for the development of Douglas and its surrounding parishes - speaking last month Onchan MHK Peter Karran said it had to be looked at on a 'professional basis':
Next week Policy and Reform Minister John Shimmin will ask Tynwald to accept a report looking at a 'high level strategic review of planning' - which will bring everything into line:
Six new buses to replace 14 year old ones
Record number of seal pups recorded
Proposed laws could mean free period products
Unemployment fell slightly last month
GP waiting times to be raised in House of Keys tomorrow
Waves higher than predicted on crossing which damaged cars
Spitfire flights to be launched from Ronaldsway
