The government's allocated nearly one million pounds to an artificial intelligence initiative.
That's according to Chief Minister Alf Cannan, in response to a Tynwald question for written reply from Rushen MHK Juan Watterson.
Mr Watterson wanted to know what the cost would be of the government's plan to create a National Office for AI.
Mr Cannan said the funds would come from The Economic and National Strategy Board as part of an existing five million pound budget, adding it shouldn't require any more government staff to be hired.
