The Department of Infrastructure spent just over £290,000 with local printers and signwriters in the past three years.
A member of the public put a Freedom of Information request to the department asking for the figures.
The DOI said it had spent a total of £290,049 on printing and signage with six local companies.
Signrite and Words and Spaces topped the figures, with £137,000 and £115,000 respectively.
