The Department for Enterprise says it's licensed to run the TT for the next 10 years.
A Freedom of Information request to the department asked for details of the contract with the Auto Cycle Union.
In its response, the department said the ACU holds the rights to TT, while it has a licence to run the races until 2033.
The DfE says the contract is worth £1.65 million this year, ACU subsidiary ACU Events paid £371,000 for marshalling services, medical services and course set-up costs.
