Trustees in charge of a hall of worship in Douglas have been told they can sell it and give the proceeds to charity.
Three people involved with the Switzerland Hall Brethren Trust went to court after congregations dwindled at the hall on Switzerland Road.
Deemster Doyle said he was satisfied the terms of the trust - which specified the hall be used as a place of worship - could no longer be met.
In a judgement, he said the hall could be sold and the money given to the Echoes of Service religious magazine.
