Goods and services worth £4.5 billion

The government's Economic Affairs Unit has revealed our GDP grew five per cent in the last twelve months in real terms.

 

Detailed figures show that growth was mostly driven by egaming, up 22 per cent on the previous year, and insurance; up seven per cent.

 

However in the same period transport, quarrying, general engineering and agriculture and fishing all fell by more than 20 per cent.
