Global recognition for Island telecoms provider

Manx Telecom has been shortlisted for two global industry awards.

It's been put up for the GSMA Global Mobile Award - for its 4G roll-out - and 'Best Telco Plc.' at the UK Stock Market Awards.

Hundreds of independent experts, analysts, journalists, academics and operator representatives will judge the company's performance.

Chief executive Mike Dee says since MT floated on the stock market each share has increased in value by around 45p - which is good news for investors:
