A gift to the St John Ambulance could save more lives across the Isle of Man.
Eight fully equipped first responder kits have been donated from The Ramsey Cottage Hospital League of Friends to those Community First Responders on duty in the north.
They cost over £2000 each and contain vital emergency equipment.
Community First Responders are the people who arrive at a scene first when someone takes ill, and tend to those awaiting an ambulance, proving essential first aid care.
They operate in the north, west and south of the Island with a team of 40 fully trained volunteers.
It's hoped these new kits will mean earlier emergency treatment will be given to the people of the north of the Island, possibly saving lives.
