7 Inmates Pass English or Maths With C or Above GCSE Grade
The positive outcomes of the money poured into the
new prison in Jurby were apparent yesterday as a number of prisoners received
certificates to verify a grade of C or above in English or Maths GCSE, taken
while in custody.
Home Affairs Minister Adrian Earnshaw was on hand
yesterday to present the four male and one female prisoners with their
certificates.
In total seven inmates completed the courses and
passed, two have since served their term and been released.
