Garff Commissioners are looking to hold an emergency meeting this week over last weeks devastating floods in Laxey.
Last Tuesday (October 1), flooding and severe downpours saw the town cut off, homes losing power, people trapped in properties and cars washed away.
The local authority says Chair of Manx Utilities, Dr Alex Allinson MHK, has signalled his intentions to attend whilst invitations have also been issued to Infrastructure Minister, Ray Harmer MHK, and representatives of DEFA.
It's scheduled to take place this Thursday (October 10) at the Laxey Pavilion in Glen Gardens at 7pm.
