The future of Drugs Advice Service and Helpline DASH has been secured after last minute private backing was found.
At one point DASH were facing the prospect of closure as they struggled to maintain their service on limited funds.
They had previously had all of their backing withdrawn by the Department of Social Care.
Shelly Stanley of DASH said their survival is down to a major community effort.
