A taxi driver accused of running over a pensioner and driving off without reporting it has been remanded in custody.
David Evans of Tynwald Street in Douglas appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 65 year old is accused of causing death by careless driving, failing to report or stop after an accident, and committing an act against public justice on March 20.
No pleas have yet been entered and he was remanded to the Isle of Man Prison until his next court appearance on July 7.
