A fundraising mission has been started to fund a drone which could help trace missing animals on Island.
Campaigners are looking to raise £3,000 to purchase a device with thermal imaging technology which, they say, could find creatures hidden in dense vegetation at all times of the day in most weather conditions.
They've added, if possible, their first deployment would be to find 'Kush', the red panda missing from Curraghs Wildlife Park.
In the long term it's intended it would be deployed free of charge subject to a drone pilot being available.
