Fundraiser launched for Moffitt family

A fundraising page has been set up to raise money for the family of a TT rider who crashed last week.

Dave Moffitt came off at Laurel bank last Tuesday - and was transferred to Aintree hospital having suffered extensive injuries.

Speaking to 3FM earlier today, Dave's wife - Karen said he is in a 'critical condition' and 'fighting for his life', she added they are taking it 'hour by hour' and the family are 'overwhelmed' by support from the public.

Now, a local woman - Jessica Kennedy has set up a gofundme page to help Dave's family with travel costs between the Island and Liverpool.
