A local man is trying to raise money to help his critically ill son receive treatment abroad.
Edward Perry is appealing to the public via a Go Fund Me page to help his eight-month-old child - Maxwell undergo stem cell treatment in Panama.
Just two days before his due date Maxwell showed fewer signs of movement than usual and after visiting Noble's Hospital his mother was rushed in for an emergency C-section.
He was then born without a heartbeat, however Maxwell was miracously brought to life again.
However, his Dad says recent MRI results don't look good as Maxwell has been diagnosed with severe HIE and cerebal palsy.
He says the only way to help is the stem cell therapy in Panama and is urging the public to donate anything they can.
