A group of friends have returned from a hiking challenge of the three highest peaks in the UK.
The Peaky Climbers, who initially set out to conquer Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon in 24 hours, encountered two men coming down Scafell Pike, one of which required medical attention.
He was suffering from hyperthermia, dehydration, and severe leg cramping - they called Mountain Rescue and carried the injured man down over 900 metres, taking an additional two and a half hours.
For their efforts, the friends raised over £5,000 for The IOM Children's Centre and Cancer Research UK.
