A vicious fight outside a city centre bar has landed four men in court.
Douglas men Piotr Krawczyk of Ballaughton Park and Joseph Doyle of Ballaughton Meadows, as well as Peel men Harry Davies and Joshua Turner, both of West View, all admitted affray when they appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood at Douglas Courthouse.
The court heard how Krawczyk, 44, and Doyle, 49, tried to intervene after Davies, 27, and Turner, 26, had a row with another man outside 1886 - a fight broke out between the men on Regent Street.
Davies was punched in the face and, while on the ground, was kicked in the head by Krawczyk and Doyle - suffering a fractured eye socket.
All four were bailed to appear again on May 21.
