Four men who fought outside a bar have been given suspended jail terms.
Piotr Krawczyk, of Ballaughton Park, and Joseph Doyle, of Ballaughton Meadows, both in Douglas, appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood at Douglas Courthouse alongside Harry Davies and Joshua Turner, both of West View in Peel.
All admitted affray outside 1886 on February 25 - the court heard 44-year-old Krawczyk and 49-year-old Doyle intervened when 27-year-old Davies and 26-year-old Turner got into an argument which turned into a fight.
Doyle and Krawczyk were both given five months jail and fined £1,000, Davies was given a three-month sentence and fined £750, while Turner was given two months and fined £600.
All the jail terms were suspended for two years and each was banned from licensed premises and ordered to pay £125 costs.
