Four people on the Isle of Man have been recognised in the King's 2024 New Year Honours List.
The first is Dr John Keith Daniels, who has been made an MBE for outstanding services to Primary Care after working as a GP as well as teaching, mentoring and supervising other health professionals.
Guy Julian Thompson has also been made an MBE for outstanding services to Scouts Association Isle of Man, after working to offer the scouting experience to children with complex needs and vulnerabilities.
The King has also awarded the British Empire Medal to Reginald Derek (Derry) Kissack for outstanding contribution to charitable, cultural and community work on the Isle of Man.
In addition to these three, James Michael (Mike) Keggen has been made an MBE as a long standing member of the RNLI, who has held a range of roles at Port St Mary Lifeboat Station.
