A former Subway manager who stole more than £9,000 from her employer will be sentenced in April.
Lisa Pailing of Ballamaddrell in Port Erin appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
The 38 year old admitted two counts of theft between April and September last year from stores in Peel and Port Erin.
The court heard in total she’d taken £9,427 by putting around 700 fake refunds through a till – she was eventually caught when management became suspicious.
They reviewed CCTV and saw Pailing processing a refund with no customer present.
Mrs Hughes asked for pre-sentencing reports to be prepared and bailed Pailing in the sum of £500 until her next appearance on April 4.
