New plans could see a former mushroom farm transformed into a heritage transport facility.
O'Rourke's Furniture Designs, based in Union Mills, has applied to convert the former Greeba Nurseries site opposite Greeba Castle on the TT course.
The company says the former mushroom growing site would be turned into a coachbuilding and restoration workshop for heritage vehicles.
The firm says the buildings would be ideal as it undertakes projects for the Island's electric and team railways as well as the Douglas horse trams.
